Meet the Northwest Family Chiropractic Team

Rebekah Allen - Lead Chiropractic Assistant / Billing Specialist

Rebekah has been part of the NWFC team since November of 2005. Being with the office since 2005 has given her the opportunity to watch many of our practice members’ families grow. This has been one of her favorite aspects of working in the office. As the billing specialist, her goal is to provide personalized service by understanding each case file and maintaining a clear, organized system within each account. She resides in Edmonds with her husband and daughter and she enjoys running, being with friends and family, shopping and reading. Rebekah has been a dedicated staff member and has played a vital role in the success of the practice.

Megan Humphrey - Rehab Chiropractic Assistant

Megan is the newest member of the NWFC team, joining the office in May of 2010. She is a native of Fairbanks, Alaska and moved to the Seattle area in December of 2009. She has a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. She has also worked as an EMT in Connecticut. Megan was a competitive swimmer and she enjoys rock climbing and river kayaking during her free time. She is excited to be part of the NWFC team and has enjoyed learning about Chiropractic and how it is incorporated into a healthy lifestyle.

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
What's a side effect?
It may sound like a bonus; something extra, but chiropractors know it should more accurately called an "unintended effect," and "unwanted effect" or in some cases an "adverse effect." A pill can't come close to matching your body's ability to create and deliver the essential compounds it needs. That's when it's important to make sure your nervous system is working correctly—the purpose of chiropractic care!
