Meet the Northwest Family Chiropractic Massage Therapists
Adell Andersen - Massage Therapist
As a recent graduate from Cortiva-Brenneke School of Massage, Adell completed the Extended Professional Licensing Program of 1,000 hours. Her mission as a massage therapist is to hold the kind of space clients need or want – be it for healing, body connection, rejuvenation, mini-vacation or rest. She wants to help her clients to restore balance within themselves and to remain a neutral entity during that process. She does treatment work with Swedish massage, deep tissue and Myofascial Release techniques as well as great relaxation work. In her spare time she enjoys dance, hiking, yoga and quality time with friends and family.
Sheila Folk - Massage Therapist
I have received 800 hours of training at East West School of Massage in Portland, OR. I am trained in Sports, Deep Tissue, Thai, Reiki, Myoskeletal Alignment and Prenatal Massage. I am pursuing education in infant massage. My passion lies in my ability to reduce pain and discomfort that stems from old or recent injuries, repetitive strain, overuse, fibromyalgia, and most other ailments that come from tense or weak muscles. I work to lengthen tense muscles and strengthen weak ones to help your body stand straight and tall. Massage not only brings blood, oxygen and nutrients (i.e. LIFE) to stiff muscles it also brings us back into relation with the body that we use and abuse on a daily basis. Treat yourself.
